WaitersRace.com is happy to present for the first time a waiters race classification system.
Our team developed this classification system based on the hundreds of waiters races we have researched and collected around the world.
The three WaitersRace.com’s labels include:
- The Traditional waiters race named « Classic Tray »
- The Sportive waiters race, named « Sportive Tray »
- The Fun waiters race, named « Fun Tray »
Classic Tray
Races classified under the Classic Tray label have the following criteria:
- Only professional waiters and/or hotel schools are allowed to participate
- Competitors have to wear a strict traditional attire
- Competitors are not allowed to run
- The route runs along the streets of the city
Sportive Tray
Races classified under the Sportive Tray label have the following criteria:
- Only professional waiters and/or hotel schools are allowed to participate
- Competitors have to wear professional attire but are allowed to wear casual clothes or shoes if this is how they dress at work
- Competitors are allowed to run
- The route often includes a circle track
- The route may include obstacles or special athletic challenges
Fun Tray
Races classified under the Fun Tray label have the following criteria:
- One or several features of the Classic and Sportive Trays are missing
- Amateurs and children are allowed to participate
- There is no dress code (dresses and costumes are allowed)
